Dayal and Jadeja will be replaced by Kuldeep Sen and Shahbaz for Bangladesh ODIs

The BCCI announced in a release on Wednesday that pacer Kuldeep Sen and all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed have been selected as Yash Dayal and Ravindra Jadeja's replacements for the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh (November 23).
 

Sen and Shahbaz were both originally scheduled to fly to New Zealand with the rest of the Shikhar Dhawan-led ODI squad, but they were both removed from the series and will instead accompany the rest of the team—captained by Rohit Sharma—to Bangladesh.For the ODI team playing in New Zealand, no stand-ins have been named.
 

Jadeja, whose participation in the Bangladesh tour was contingent upon fitness, is still recovering from a knee injury he suffered during the Asia Cup and which also prevented him from participating in the T20 World Cup. The medical staff of the BCCI will continue to keep an eye on him. Dayal, meanwhile, was unable to participate in the Bangladesh series due to a lower back problem.
 

Shikhar Dhawan (C), Shubman Gill, Deepak Hooda, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (VC and WK), Sanju Samson (WK), Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Deepak Chahar, and Umran Malik are the members of the Indian team for the ODI series against New Zealand.
 

The following players will represent India in the one-day international series against Bangladesh: Rohit Sharma (captain), KL Rahul (vice captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Shreyas Iyer, Rahul Tripathi, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), Shahbaz Ahmed, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur.


The three one-day internationals will be contested on December 4, 7, and 10, with the first two games taking place in Dhaka and the third one in Chattogram.
 

In the second of four games, Pujara and Umesh will represent India A.
 

The BCCI also unveiled the lineup for the two four-day matches between India A and Bangladesh A, which will be played prior to India's Test series there. The team, led by Abhimanyu Easwaran, includes Cheteshwar Pujara and Umesh Yadav for the second game.
 

The first four-day match will take place in Cox's Bazaar from November 29 to December 2, and the second will take place in Sylhet from December 6 to 9. The World Test Championship's two-Test series against Bangladesh will be played from December 14–18 and December 22–26 in Chattogram and Dhaka, respectively.
